JOHN LEWIS, OWNER
John Lewis is a Monterey County native raised in an agricultural family who owns a strawberry growing operation in Salinas. John graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness/Management and a minor in Viticulture. He has over 17 years of construction experience, certified infrared thermographer, and is a licensed general building contractor as well as a licensed C-17 glazing contractor. John is very well versed in the community being involved in several organizations. He is on the Board of Directors for the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce, current president and founder of Monterey County Stewardship Council which is a political action committee; he serves on the Board of Trustees for the Monterey County Association of Realtors Charitable Trust Committee, and has recently committed to serving the City of Salinas as planning commissioner. John is the owner of National Property Inspections in Salinas; he performs inspections for various types of commercial and residential properties. Additionally, he own Lewis Builders, Inc., which is a licensed general contracting firm specializing in residential remodel construction and a property preservation division that handles bank owned homes. Last but not least, he owns The Glass Guru of Monterey County, serving the tri county areas. Glass Guru is a glass restoration and replacement company, specializing in removing the fog and moisture from double paned windows using a patented, low cost procedure that is not only green, but also provides a 10 year warranty.
