Whole Home Remodeling of a 1970's Gem

This 1970’s era Pebble Beach home has been transformed into a contemporary escape with stunning golf course and ocean views. To maintain the mid-century modern character of the home, we preserved much of the original woodwork through this whole home remodeling project.

Scenic views of the outdoors were enhanced with new windows throughout. The increased amount of natural light that pours in through the new windows allows for a bright, spacious, and sophisticated vibe.

Functionality was dramatically improved by relocating the kitchen to an exterior wall and equipping it with modern amenities--from an expansive island, to an apron front sink, and a gorgeous new range.

Finally, our technical expertise and personal touches are highlighted in the modern architectural details of the home. In addition to the cable rail system that opened up the space and helped to create a post-industrial feel, we modernized other elements such as the fireplace and use of geometric and three-dimensional tiles, with various textures and shapes. To balance the tone of the living areas, the dramatic ceiling beams draw the eye upward and accentuate the home’s unique layout. And the original spiral staircase, previously covered in carpet, has been refined with custom wood treads on each step that beautifully compliment the original woodwork.
